Progress on Ethereum 2.0, the "Altair" update is complete.

A major cryptocurrency transfer (virtual currency) upgrade from Ethereum to ETH 2.0 "Altair" was successfully implemented in Bacon China on the night of the 27th.

It looks like we are one step closer to a full POS.

The upgrade was made to Beacon China (ETH2 Phase 0). This was the first update to "The Merge", the integration of China based on PoS and Ethereum Main China in ETH 2.0.

As planned, the update was completed around the age of 74240 (approximately 20:00 on the 27th).

According to the Ethereum Foundation, Altair is named after the Altair star in Aquila, located at the corner of the Summer Triangle. In the name of the update, the community vote decided to use the names of the stars in alphabetical order.

To date, ETH2.0 has a total stock of 8.02 million ETH.
